Loretta Lam
Chief Strategist and President
Passionate about making the world a better place, Loretta is Chief Strategist and President of Focus Communications Inc. She has over 25 years of professional experience in marketing and public relations with leading multinational firms, such as Hill & Knowlton Canada and Ogilvy Asia.
Loretta has extensive experience with high profile clients in North America and Asia. She helped PepsiCo establish its first North America Asian Advisory Council and initiated the first annual multicultural marketing special feature of Marketing Magazine.
Loretta is responsible for formulating Focus’ direction, and providing vision and counsel on diversity and strategic marketing to brands and corporate clients.
Loretta is an active speaker and frequent article contributor on diversity and multicultural marketing, an advisor to C-Suite executives on diversity strategy and cultural nuances, as well as a mentor to Asian youths and immigrants on career building and entrepreneurship.

Winnie Kam
Vice President
With 25+ years of experience in public relations, news media, issue management, creative copywriting, digital and video content creation, Winnie is responsible for Client Services, Language Creative, and Quality Control at Focus Communications.
Winnie manages major financial and non-profit clients of Focus. She has planned, launched and managed several national public relations campaigns for TD Bank Group, Sun Life Financial, and Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Winnie has also been instrumental in strategic planning and execution of celebrity events, fundraisers and theme festivals for corporate clients, non-profit, health organizations, and business associations, achieving CEIA Best Festival award for the 20th Toronto International Dragon Boat Festival.
Anthony Cheng
Vice President, Strategy
Anthony has over 20 years of brand marketing, advertising and communications experience. Prior to joining Focus Communications, he held the position of Managing Partner at Crimson Advertising.
Anthony possesses extensive experience in account management and strategic planning. He has strong track record in helping such major corporate clients as Rogers, Bell, TD, CIBC, P&G, Unilever, across different sectors develop and execute successful multi-cultural marketing campaigns.
Anthony also has extensive not-for-profit marketing experience. He was Senior Manager Ethnic Markets at the Heart and Stroke Foundation has also worked with organizations such as the United Way of Greater Toronto, Mon Sheong Foundation etc.
In recent years, Anthony has played an active role in ethnic digital strategies and has developed and executed many successful campaigns for clients.
Kay Xiao
Consultant, Digital and Social Media Marketing
Kay joined Focus Communications in 2016. She specializes in Asian marketing, public relations, digital and social media marketing. She is responsible for planning, budgeting and implementation of client campaigns, and managing client, influencer, media and community relations.
